Introducing...

Bethany Anne Campbell

Beth's entry to the outside world was a bit of a surprise for us. She was five weeks early, so we weren't even close to being ready to welcome her into the world. In fact, we barely made it to the delivery room in time for her birth! Regardless, she was healthy and beautiful. The doctor kept her in the NICU for a few hours to observe her breathing, but he released her to the regular nursery shortly. She spent a lot of time in the room with us, and we came home from the hospital two days later. Dustin, Foster and I are adjusting to our new roles with her home. Caring for her is more than a full-time job, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

On her one-month birthday, Beth continues to bless us with her presence. She is growing quickly, and we are starting to see her personality emerge when she is awake. She can follow our voices and focus on our faces. She can pick up her head and attempts to move it around. She loves to hear Dustin's voice, especially when he sings to her. Her eyes are becoming bluer each day, and she still has a full head of hair. We love our little girl!

Thanks to all of our family and friends who have visited and called to meet Beth and give us their well wishes. We are very blessed to have all of you in our lives. Check back here periodically for news and pictures about our little family, especially Beth.
