Beth has been growing and developing at an amazing rate. At her two month doctor visit, she weighed 9 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21 inches tall. We're not sure what her stats are now, but we know she's been busy growing. She's nearly outgrowing her size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes. More importantly to us, though, is the development of her personality. We can watch her turn into a person by the day! In the past two weeks, Beth has started to interact with her environment, especially Dustin and I more and more. She smiles and giggles when she sees us for the first time in the morning. She mimics us when we stick our tongues out at her and has even started to initiate the "tongue game" herself. Last week, I caught her sticking her tongue out at and reaching for the (previously ignored) toys that hang over her play mat. Bethany is now aware that she has hands and tries to chew them and even reach for objects. These are truly exciting times!
